Terri Lynn Isley was born November 22, 1965 in Knoxville, Iowa. She was the daughter of Fern LaVonne Bivans and J. D. Isley. Terri was a 1984 graduate of Hoover High School. She graduated from A.I.B. Terri also attended North East Missouri State (Truman State). Terri was employed for several years at EMC Insurance in Des Moines. Most recently she was doing temporary work in Des Moines. Terri loved animals and children. She was a frequent volunteer at various events in the Des Moines area.

Terri passed away at the age of 42 years on August 26, 2008. Preceding her in death were her father and brother.

Those left to mourn her passing are her mother, LaVonne Isley of Des Moines; one sister, Colleen (Bill) Fantz of Hannibal, Missouri; and her half brother, Jerald (Barb) Heaberlin of Knoxville; one niece, Ashley Fantz; and three nephews, Shane Fantz, Brad Heaberlin, and Jeff Heaberlin.

Funeral Services for Ms. Isley were held Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Music selections were “Amazing Grace” and “Wind Beneath My Wings”; organist was Janet Westberg. Casket Bearers were Terry Edwards, Bill Fantz, Shane Fantz, Jerald Heaberlin, David Isley, and Dick Reed. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
