Pella Blade: Died, last Saturday, at 1 o’clock, of a complication of diseases, A. O. Elliott, after a long illness, at the age of 63 years. Since the last four weeks deceased had to keep his bed. Mr. Elliott was one of our most respected citizens. He leaves a beloved wife and two daughters. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Methodist church. The religious funeral exercises were held by Rev. George Peck, pastor of the Baptist church, in the Methodist meeting house. Rev. Kendrick, pastor of the church, being unable to attend the services. The remains were laid to rest in the Oakland cemetery, northwest of town.
