HOPE—Benjamin B. Hope, 78, died Friday evening at his home four miles north of Meriden.

Mr. Hope came to Kansas in 1911 from Iowa, and has since lived in the vicinity of Meriden. He has survived by four sons and four daughters. They are: Mrs. Clara Rice, Taneyville, Mo.; Mrs. Grace Meadows, Gaylord, Kan.; Mrs. A. T. Barber, Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. J. A. Lyons, Winterset, Ia.; Benjamin Hope, Jr., of Meriden; Clyde Hope, Garden Grove, Ia., and Charles and Claude Hope, of Winterset, Ia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the residence. Burial will be made in Meriden cemetery.

Coordinator note: The Benjamin Hope family lived in Madison County for the 1905 and 1910 censuses.
