Ellen Leggitt, Winterset

Ellen Mae Leggitt, 74, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Saturday at Winterset Care Center North. services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn.

She was born in Dallas Center and had lived in Woodward, Clarinda and Adel before moving to Winterset in 1991. She enjoyed church, religious music and listening to the radio.

She is survived by a sister, Elsie Faber of Taft, Texas; and two brothers, Bill Leggitt and Paul Leggitt both of Lytton.

The Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the time of services Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Dallas County Care Facility in Adel. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register 04 April 2002.
