Diane, 88, died peacefully of natural causes in the comfort of her Texas home alongside her two cats, Willie and Waylon, who brought her great joy. A proud graduate of Winterset High School, Class of ’54, she began her diverse career as an Executive Secretary working in public school systems and insurance/banking sectors.
In 1985, Diane moved with her beloved husband, Jack, to the Fort Worth area of Texas. They remained happily married for 47 years until his death in 2003.
Diane was also preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Leona Duncan; brother, Dick Duncan; and too many cats to name!
She is survived by son Jordan his wife Telsin and daughter Kimberly; sister-in-law Mary Patterson Duncan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Iowa, Minnesota and Texas.
Diane’s family would especially like to acknowledge the kindness of her devoted caregiver, Lisa Pelletier, whose several years of care and concern for our mother was unmatched.
