Forty Years Ago (Sept. 16, 1882)

Mrs. Nancy Baird of St. Charles died at 4 a.m. Thursday last. Her death was sudden and unexpected. Mr. and Mrs. Baird were old settlers and had a large number of friends and acquaintances.
