Forty Years Ago (Oct. 21, 1882)

Little Walter Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rufe Bell, now living in Great Bend, died last week, after years of patient suffering.

Transcriber's note: The father was in the Madison County Censuses of 1860 & 1870, served in the Civil War from Madison County and married in Madison County in 1870. By 1880 they were in Great Bend, Kansas.
