Word was received here Saturday by relatives of the sudden death of John Keel at his home near Des-Moines, Ia. Mr. Keel had been visiting here for several weeks and had only been at home for a week when he was stricken with apoplexy.

He was a former resident of this vicinity and a brother of Nathan Keel and Mrs. Harvey Coddington of this city.
