Jimmie,, son of Geo M. and H.F. Wallace died of scarlet fever, early Friday morning, Sept. 20th, and the same day was interred in the cemetery at St. Charles.

Jimmie was a bright boy , a few months over five years old. Three of the other children have a fever.

DEATHS
WALLACE - Of Scarlet fever in Jackson township Sept. 29th, 7 a.m., Jimmie c. Wallace, son of G.M. and G. F. Wallace.

Jimmie was a bright, active little boy of five summer, the pride and joy of fond parent. Not quite one week elapsed from the time he was last at school until he was cold in death. There will be a vacant chair around the family hearth. His brothers and sister will miss him in their play. His schoolmates, when they see his vacant desk will miss him there.
