L.E. Orwan Dies (Lorimor Special)

Lewis Edwin Orwan, well known resident of Lorimor, died suddenly of a heart attack, Saturday, January 10th, at the age of 74 years. Mr. Orwan, who was a retired farmer, had been doing chores at the Loren Stalcup farm, and when he didn't return, he was found, dead, in the corn crib.

Mr. Orwan was born in April 1878, and had lived in this community many years. He is survived by three [two] sons and two [three] daughters Lois Umstead of Truro, Jean Silverthorne of Earlham, and Kate Cooper, and William and Frank Orwan, all of Lorimor. His wife, and a daughter Betty Lou preceded him in death.

The Rev. Mr. Rowe conducted his funeral services at the Lorimor Methodist church, Monday, January 12th, at 2 o'clock, and burial was in the Lorimor cemetery.
