Marion Eugene Bevins, 57, a resident of Elk Point, died unexpectedly Saturday while working at the drive-in restaurant which he operated.

He was born June 30, 1910, at Winterset, Iowa. He married Verna Graeber Sept. 24, 1960, at Worthington, Minn. He was employed by Continental Trailways in Sioux City until moving to Elk Point in April.

Survivors include the widow; a son James of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Judy Sharpe [Sharp] of Des Moines, and two grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Anderson Funeral Home of Elk Point.

M. Eugene Bevins, 57, formerly of Des Moines, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday at Elk Point, S.D.

Mr. Bevins operated a drive-in restaurant at Elk Point. He was a truck driver in Des Moines before leaving here about eight years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Verna; two children by a previous marriage, James E. Bevins and Mrs. Gerald Sharp, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Des Moines and Mrs. Margaret Freihage of Afton, and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sac City with burial at Afton.

M. Eugene Bevins, 57, of Elk Point, S. D., died unexpectedly of a cerebral hemorrhage at his place of business at Elk Point Saturday evening, July 22. His widow is the former Verna Graber of Lytton.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Farber and Ottoman Funeral Home at Sac City, with the Rev. Lenhard R. Middents officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites.

Besides his wife, Mr. Bevins is survived by two children of a previous marriage, James Bevins and Mrs. Jerry Sharp, both of Des Moines; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Des Moines, and Mrs. Margaret Freihage of Afton.
