Death of Mrs. Elmer Moore

Mrs. Elmer R. Moore died at the Winterset hospital, Thursday, July 24th, after several weeks illness. She was fifty-five years of age at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at Tidrick’s funeral home, Saturday afternoon, July 26th, and the burial was in the Winterset cemetery. Rev. H. W. Hendricks, assisted by Rev. W. B. Tarr, conducted the services.

Mrs. Moore was the daughter of Isaac and Mary E. Coffman, and was born in Polk county, April 8, 1875.

When she was eight years old she came with her parents to Madison county, where she spent the remainder of her life.

On February 5, 1892, she was united in marriage to Elmer R. Moore. There were two sons born to this union, Guile E., of Winterset and Edgar A., of Van Meter. She is survived by her husband, two sons, two grand- daughters, one sister, Mrs. Frank L. Neidelgh, and two brothers, Thomas E. Coffman, of Webster township, and Benjamin H, Coffman, of Des Moines.
