I have the original Souvenir "School District No. 9, Whitebreast Township, Lucas County, Iowa, 1896-7, presented by Ida O. Patterson, Teacher; I. N. Pulliam, Director.

Edwin Robison is my grandfather. When he grew up he taught school in another Lucas County one-room schoolhouse (that souvenir is also submitted). Later he owned Robison's Grocery in the town of Lucas. His daughter, my mother, Margaret Miller, became a teacher and taught at the school in Lucas, as well as a one-room school, Hazel Dell (near the farm where I grew up), and schools in Derby and Chariton.
