Mrs. Fannie, the beloved young wife of Joseph Wainewright. died, at her home near Bard last Sunday at noon. It was an unexpected shock to many of her friends. While it was known Mrs. Wainewright was sick, it was not thought the end was so near until within forty-eight hours of her death. The immediate cause is thought to be hemorrhages caused by typhoid fever. Mrs. Wainewright will long be missed by her many friends which she made while here in our neighborhood. She was a pleasant, kind neighbor, a living young wife, an obedient, true sister and daughter, an affectionate and indulgent mother. We extend our sympathy to all the sorrowing friends, especially to the heart broken young husband and the little five months old baby boy who are all the remain of the once happy home.

The remains of Mrs. Wainewright were taken to Guss, Iowa, to be laid to rest in the home cemetery. Mrs. Else, the mother of the deceased, has taken the infant boy to her home near Guss, where Mr. Wainewright will remain for the present.
