Death ought always to make men thoughtful, and especially so when it takes the young. Henry Thompson was only 16 years of age, but he was taken.

Page 8 -- Letts, May 30 - Mr. Henry Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson, died Saturday afternoon. Funeral today from the M. E, church, conducted by Rev. Besan. Interment in the Letts cemetery.

Page 8 -- Cedar Bethel- May 30- Henry Thompson died Saturday at half past 2 o'clock, May 27, at his parents home. He was sick but a few months and bed-ridden only a dew days as the result of a severe cold that developed into quick consumption. Henry Thompson was born in Concord Township near Letts, November 15, 1883, hence was 16 years, 6 months and 12 days of age at the time of his death. A very large crowd was present at the funeral. The funeral took place at Letts, Rev. Bevan preached the funeral sermon, assisted by Rev. W. S. Kight and Rev. Kepheart.
