Cedar Bethel, April 3- At Letts, on Monday, April 3, 1899, at about 10 o'clock in the morning, amid weeping friends and relatives, Mrs. H. P. Brown passed away. She had been in poor health for several months and all realized that it would not be long before she would leave her earthly friends. She leaves a husband and four children, one son and three daughters. They are Guy Brown, Mrs. Wm. Griffin, Mrs. Geo. Hankins and Mrs. Thomas Norris. She also leaves two brothers, Doc and R. W. Lee, and three sisters, Mrs. Tim Hankins and Mrs. F. Stump and one sister, whose name we did not learn. While the family especially feel the loss she will be greatly missed in the community. Her maiden name was Nancy Lee and she was 61 years of age. She will be interred in Jayne's cemetery Wednesday, April 5, at 10 o'clock.
