At 10 o'clock Tuesday night the spirit of Mary Storms Bedwell passed from earth. She came to live in Iowa in 1836 from Illinois, where she had stopped on coming from Ohio, her native state. Six children survive to mourn her loss. On Sunday, October 9, at 10 a. m. the funeral was conducted by Rev. Bevan, the M. E. Minister at Letts, after which the remains were interred in Cedar Bethel cemetery.
