Mrs. George Gresham, who has been a resident of this county since 1839, died very suddenly last Thursday morning at her residence in Port Louisa township. She had gone to the corn crib to get some corn for the chickens, and a few moments later she was found dead. Her maiden name was Morris, and she was born in the state of New York 66 years ago. She was married to George Gresham over 40 years ago, who with six children survive her. She was a member of the Baptist church. The funeral was from the family home Saturday at 10 a. m., Rev. Pool officiating.
