David G. Luedtke (1941-2021)

David G. Luedtke (79) of Cedar Rapids passed away on April 15, 2021 at his home.

A visitation will be held on Sunday April 18, 2021 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 3pm-5pm. Following the continued guidance from health officials, physical distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people into the visitation at one time. The use of facemasks or shields is required. Service will be held Monday April 19, 2021 at King of Kings Lutheran Church on N. Center Point Rd. starting at 10am.

David George Luedtke was born July 28, 1941 in Wisconsin; the son of George and Ruth (Stroesser) Luedtke. He graduated from Wild Rose High School in Wisconsin. David served in the United States Navy. He loved snowmobiling, antiquing, flea markets, fishing, traveling, camping and was an avid Nascar fan. David worked for many years for Mid State distributing company and was a 20 year Dr. Vinyl business owner. He loved his family and his church family.

David is survived by his wife of 53 years Leilani; his children Steven (Kelly) Luedtke of Norway, Ann (Jim) Yacko of Altoona, Robert (Anna) Luedtke of Cedar Rapids, Tonya (Jonathan) Mills of Alburnett; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother John Luedtke, and one grandchild Tucker Dean Mills.

Memorial donations may be directed to King of Kings or Hospice of Mercy
