Funeral services for Kamryn Athena Jean Schlitter, age 18 months, were held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, April 2, at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, also in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rev. Kay Slocum of First Lutheran Church officiated at the service.

Kamryn Athena Jean Schlitter, daughter of Zyriah Schlitter and Nicole King, was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on September 23, 2008. Kamryn loved music, dancing, and watching her favorite TV show, Yo Gabba Gabba. She was a sweet and loving little girl.

Kamryn Athena Jean Schlitter died at the University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City, Iowa on Sunday, March 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Delores Tallman, great-grandfather, John L. King, great-great grandmother Margaret Mueller, and a cousin Ruben Mayo.

She is survived by her parents, her grandparents, John and Jeri King of Hiawatha, Laura and Randy Schoon of Greer, South Carolina, and Kim and Cindy Schlitter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her great-grandparents, Audrey King and Herbert and Donnabelle Hartz, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Arden and Darlene Schlitter of Webster City, Iowa; her aunts, Kassi King, Jera Schlitter, Kelly Walters, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her uncles, Jeff (Tanya) Walters of Vinton, Iowa and Travis Deason of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her cousins, Leah Walters of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Gage Walters of Vinton, Iowa.
