AGED RESIDENT OF ALGONA DIES
Mrs. Stewart, 82, Was Daughter of Pioneers.

ALGONA—Funeral services were to be held Friday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Fannie Susan Stewart, 82, at the home of her sister, Mrs. William K. Ferguson. The Rev. David R. Martin was to be in charge with burial in Riverview cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Algona Jan. 12, 1862. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis H. Smith, Kossuth county pioneers. She was married June 10, 1883, to William H. Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy died in 1893. In 1910 Mrs. Kennedy was married to George Stewart of Armstrong who died in 1928.

Mrs. Stewart (Kennedy) died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Tjaden Tuesday morning.

She is survived by a son, A. L. Kennedy, of Oakland, Cal.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Henry Tjaden of Burt and Mrs. Glenn Burt of Armstrong. There are also 6 surviving step-children. Three living sisters are: Mrs. G. R. Horton, White Plains, N.Y.; Mrs. J. H. Wallace, Hollywood, Cal.; Mrs. Ferguson, Algona; and H. E. Rist, Algona, a step-brother.
