Daniel: Could Samuel have had a son John Kelly, who married Jerusha Bessie Millikin? John & Jerusha had sons Samuel, John & George, with daughters Eunice, Rebecca & Emma. Jerusha's parents were Samuel Millikin and Rebecca Williams, so family assumed son Samuel was named for his grandfather Millikin. These families were in Oberlin, Lorain Co. OH, Ottawa, LaSalle Co. IL, my Davis family, (2nd husband to Jerusha, and my line) were in Jones Co. IA, and all ended up near Grant City, Worth Co. MO. Hope we can make a connection.
