I want to thank the persons that so kindly gave information on Martha J. Porter and David D. Crane. I did finally find the parents of Martha. It was Jonithan Porter and Jane Seewright. Jonithan was born in Ohio and Jane in Ireland. Now I am searching for David D. Crane's parents. He lists his parents as being born in NY. Since that is such a big state, and if he meant New York City, then it would be impossible. I think he died in Nebraska. Would that help if I checked his death certificate for his parents? Thanks again for your kind help. I did not check back till now, I really did not believe I would get a response. I certainly was wrong. Sharon Knape
