Thank you all so much for your efforts! I lost the link to this page and it took me awhile to see your replies. :-) I have seen several census records that suggest that he was one year older than Opal and that his birth year was 1895. Jim are you sure he was born in 1899? I am overwhelmed at the treasure trove of Family history for Jones county and take my hat off to the GenWeb folks. It was great reading about the Sinclairs who helped settle Scotch Grove. Where would I go to find marraige records for 1909, as I believe this is the year he married Opal.
