Floyd D. Sinclair was born November 1899 in Scotch Grove, Jones County. He married Opal R. Nance born Sept 1895, dughter of William Charles Nance and Effie L. Taylor. Floyd was the son of Matthew Mervin Sinclair (1863-1937) and Della May Sutherland who married March 14, 1894. Mervin was the son of Angus Sinclair (1833-1901) and Ann Nelson (1836- 1902).

Haven't found yet where Floyd and Opal are and suspect that his parents married in 1899 as they don't show up on the Jones County marriages up to 1898.
