Since I can't post pictures or links to the census here (subscription site) then I have to give you a quick transcription here.

1870 Iowa, Jones County Census dated July 26, 1870
Series: M593, Roll: 401, Page 147, Visit 139, Line 15, Town: Monticello

Albert Lehman, age 44, Physicin born Prussia.
Mervin, age 11 born Missouri
Sarah, age 9 born Missouri

Alberts value of real estate, $900 and personal estate $500.

So by this we know he was in Missouri "at least" sometime between 1859-1861.

With that said he is found in the 1860 Missouri census at Russell Twp, Camden County showing age 36, born Poland, occupation - Merchant. Wife Elizabeth age 21 born Missouri, son Myer (looks like this but hard to read), age 1 born Missouri.

So, if Elizabeth died between c.1861-1870, then I would look both in Camden Co., MO and Jones County, IA for her between those dates.

Also noted an Albert Lehman who married March 6, 1871 to Eliza Jane Sowell in Delaware County, IA (neighbor to Jones county). May want to check there too. All I have as I do not live in Iowa so work via Internet.
