Holt burial site

I'm looking for the burial site of John Holt, died Anamosa, Aug 23, 1868, and his wife, Eleanor (Ellen) Hier Holt, died Anamosa, Aug 23, 1870. John Holt was the brother of E.C. Holt, Jonathan Holt and Kate Holt Kinsella, all of whom are buried at the family plot in Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa, with their parents, Thomas and Catherine. I have checked with Riverside, and they have no record of John or Eleanor being buried there.

John and Ellen were Catholic, so I checked with St. Patrick's in Anamosa, and they have no record for them either. So where could they be?
I have been unable to find obituaries for either of them.
