The problem here is that "Frank" may be his middle name and short for Franklin. He also may have been born in a different state unless you know for sure it was PA? I say that because I find many people who shows they were born in one state one census and a different state in the next.
With that said, I find no Frank or Franklin McClure of "that age" in Iowa during 1920. There are 6 Frank's but all too young with 4 born in IA and 2 in IL. The only Franklin was in CO and again too young and wrong birth place. The closest that year in age would be a Frank S. McClure, age 71 born PA and living in Franklin, Westmoreland Co., PA with wife Anna M. There is also a Charles V. McClure age 74 born PA in Greene, Butler Co., IA and a Silas G. McClure age 71 born IL in Moulton, Appanoose Co., IA.
In the 1900 census there is a Frank McClure (age 53 born Nov 1847 NY) in Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., IN - shows married but no wife with him and occupation was a veterinarian surgeon. There are a couple more that year but living in PA, VT, and AL.
You may to know more about him before being able to track his whereabouts?
