Adolphus Allen 71 born IA
father: David Allen born NC mother: John? Drum born NC (David & John? were married in Iowa)

Laura Allen 61 born IA father: John Whiting born IA

Laura Allen b 1864 d 1935 is buried in Norwich Cem., Jones Co., IA (Norwich Cem is almost in Linn Co., IA)

My listing at home does not show David Allen buried with her. I will check at the genealogy library on Wednesday.

In 1860 Iowa census:
David Allen's appear in Cedar Co. and Clayton Co
which border on Jones Co., IA

I will also check the actual 1925 film and see if I can read David's wife's first name.

The death records in Jones Co. for the period 1920 to 1940 are not at the courthouse. Therefore I cannot view Laura Allen's death record. However, the Linn Co. genealogy society has indexed their obituaries. Perhaps I can find Laura Allen's information there.
