Joanne: I just published an article in the New York Genealogical Biographical Record, January 2012, that concerns Joseph and Daniel Chaplin of Virgil, New York, and gives the maiden name of Daniel's wife, and his wife, Minerva. You can access THE RECORD at most genealogy libraries. Part 2 of this article to be published in April goes into more depth about Daniel and his children. From which child do you descend?
