I think you hit the nail on the head! The 1925 Polk Co Census reads as she was born abt 1861 in Wisconson, was widowed, lived in ward 2 of Polk co in 1925. Her Father was Patric kennedy born in Ireland and Mother was Mary Plowery, born in Ireland. (so do not know where the CT comes in)
Lillian was 64 at the Census time and had Nell and Ann living with her. All of this rings true. But the darn thing is that I cannot find anything past this! Says also she was married in Wisconsin. Would not surprise me if she married her brother in law I got the death notice on Lillian today and it says that her burial services were held at St Augustin's Church Feb 19, 1937. It also said to call *McGermott's for more information. Do you think that McDermott's was a funeral home? If so, it is no longer in operation. Are you getting your info from a PAY genealogy site? Perhaps I need to belong to your sourse. Maybe this is why I cannot go back further? Thanks so much for your input, I really do appreciate it.
