On 05/01/1911 Davenport Daily Times:
obituary for Louisa Hohnsbeen
born 10/22/1842 in Niehous, Holstein, Germany
survivors: brothers William and Detlef(Carl?) Wunder. In the 1870 census for Davenport, Scott Co. Heinrich & Doris Wunder with Minna (age 19) - Wagonmaker
Delief 35 is married to Christina and is a grocer in Davenport. There is additional information about Henry (Henrich)Wunder born 1818 Schleswig, Holstien, Germany died 01/1898 Anamosa, Iowa on Rootsweb.
Our cemetery listing for Cass Congregational Cemetery is as through as we could get. I would suggest that you contact the sexton again and get some written proof of Henry & Dora Wunder's burials.
This information says that Henry & Dora Renold had children: Louise Mary
William, Jr.
Carl (Delief on census)
Wilhelmine (Minnie)
Elise/Eliza/Alsie
In 1910 Charles (Carl) & Alsie (Elisia) are listed in Tallyrand, Wilson Co., KS.
I do not know why Elisia is not mentioned in Louisa Hohnsbeen's obituary.
When I am in Anamosa, I will try to find Elisia's obituary.
