I wanted you to know that I have further information on Emma. Her middle name is actually Nellie and she was married to a Snyder, divorced by 1920 and then she remarried before 1952 to a gentleman by the last name of Porter. This was according to her sister's, Rhoda Alice Tompkins, obituary. She died September 28, 1969 in North Highlands, Sacramento, California according to Social Security. She actually had 2 children with Snyder - Hazel Ellen (abt 1900) and Forrest Irving (1912-1991). Let me know if you would like more info... as we know quite a bit about that side of the family as Emma Nellie's father Norris is the brother of Emma Nettie Tompkins who is my ggggrandma.
