I am trying to find any information on Hezekiah Winchell that lived in Jones Co., I find him in the 1840, and 1850 census. In 1840 he is listed with a family. However in 1850 he is listed only with Erastus . Then in 1853 or 1854 he married again to a Margaret Fitzpatrick. At this time Hezekiah was abt 63 yrs and Margaret was abt 28 yrs. What happened to his first wife and family?
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
