A parish vigil service for Owen Earl Domer, 35, Anchorage, Alaska and formerly of Anamosa, was held Oct. 1, 1995 at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa.

Mr. Domer died Aug. 2 in Anchorage, Alaska.

The son of Earl and Betty Angus Domer, he was born Oct. 31, 1959 in Anamosa. He graduated from Anamosa high school in 1978.

He was a correctional officer at the Iowa State Men's Reformatory in Anamosa and later moved to Alaska, where he worked as a logger for several years. At the time of his death he was working as a security guard for Pinkerton Security in Anchorage.

Mr. Domer was a member of St. Patricik's Catholic church in Anamosa.

He is survived by 3 children, twin daughters Sarah and Shelly Domer, and Shawn Domer, all of Monticello; his mother, Betty Huerter, Anamosa; 2 sisters, Pam Domer, Marion and Barbara Domer, Grandburg, Texas; a special friend, Misty Klima, Anchorage, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and his step father, Vincent Huerter.
