Funeral services for Margaret P. Stolte, 68, Olin, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1995 at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Stanwood, with the Rev. Daniel Ognoskie officiating. Burial will be in the Olin cemetery.

Mrs. Stolte died Sept. 3 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness.

The daughter of Folkar and Lavera Koch Janssen, she was born March 29, 1927 near Olin. She graduated from Olin high school in 1945. She married Hilbert Stolte Nov. 24, 1946 at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Stanwood.

The couple farmed south of Olin their entire lives.

Mrs. Stolte was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and American Legion Auxiliary Blayney Miner Unit No. 412 in Olin. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing and caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; 3 sons, Dennis, Stanwood; and Gary and Randy, both of Olin; 3 daughters, Marcine (Mrs. Elan) Miller, Oxford Junction; and Cindy Stolte and Glenda (Mrs. James) Lawson, both of Olin; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
