Funeral services for Paul C. Levsen, 73, Clarence, were held June 28, 1993 at the Olin United Methodist church, with the Rev. Edward Frank officiating. Pallbearers were James Coleman, Rick Mizaur, Russell Mizaur, Chris Coleman, Brian Levsen and Brett Levsen. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Levsen died June 25 at his home.

The son of Peter and Mary Holub Levsen, he was born Aug. 9, 1919 on the family farm north of Clarence. He graduated from Olin high school in 1936.

Mr. Levsen farmed with his parents and married Evelyn Hillmer July 19, 1941 in Cedar Rapids. The couple farmed until retiring in 1983, but remained on the farm where he was born, until his death.

He is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Sandra Waddell, Clarence and Donna Coleman, Mt. Vernon; twin sons, Peter, Orlando, Fla. and Paul, Drexel, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Elsie (Mrs. Bert) Ballou, Monticello and Freda (Mrs. John) Holmes, Olin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
