Last rites for Alice Achenbach, 90, were held at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, Sept. 30 with burial in Forest cemetery, rural Anamosa.

Mrs. Achenbach died at the Mechanicsville Care Center Sept. 27.

She is survived by 3 sons, Arden and Allen, Anamosa; Alvin, Cedar Rapids; 3 daughters, Helen Hobel, Fayetteville, Ark.; Jean Rekemeyer, Mechanicsville and Joyce Steele, Anamosa; a brother, Kenneth Schlampp, Platteville, Wis.; 3 sisters, Rose Mary Boyes and Hazel Weld, Dubuque and Delores Hendricksen, Cedar Falls; 25 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
