Funeral services for Gerald (Jerry) Bicknese, 46, Oxford Junction, were held Aug. 15, 1992 at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Oxford Junction, with Father William Holzer officiating. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

Mr. Bicknese died Aug. 12 at the Mary P. Greeley hospital in Ames.

The son of Edwin and Eleanor Henak Bicknese, he was born Oct 2, 1945 in Davenport. He attended the Oxford Junction schools and had been a resident at Woodward State hospital since 1961.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Oxford Junction.

Mr. Bicknese is survived by his mother; 5 sisters, Joyce Slouha and Jean (Mrs. Duane) Feuss, both of Oxford Junction; Joni Bicknese, Crown Point, Ind.; and Janet Bicknese and Jackie (Mrs. Dean) Haase, both of Cedar Rapids; 2 brothers, John, St. Charles, Mo. and James, Oxford Junction; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
