OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral services were held for Mrs. Henry (Judy) Becker, 36, of Oxford Junction on Monday, Oct. 9 at the Union Presbyterian church in Lost Nation. The Rev. Pal Skelley was the clergyman. Joylene Randolph was organist and Mrs. Larry Quick, soloist.

Mrs. Becker died early Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Jackson County public hospital in Maquoketa. she was born Oct 6, 1936 in Cedar county, the daughter of Earl and Mable Alliston Henrichsen. She graduated from Lost Nation high school. On June 7 1953 she was united in marriage to Henry Becker at Lowden. After their marriage they spent two years in Germany, while Becker was in the service. Since 1958 they have lived northeast of Oxford Junction.

Mrs. Becker was a member of the Union Presbyterian church in Lost Nation, where she was chairman of the Christian Education Committee and a Sunday school teacher. She was also a professional cake decorator.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Tamara Lee and Mindy Lea, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Mable Gottschalk of Mechanicsville; her step-father, Raymond Gottschalk of Lowden; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Everetts of Davenport; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Patricia Wiskus and Mrs. Peggy Hasselbusch.

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister and one brother.

Burial was at Smithtown cemetery near Lost Nation. Pallbearers were Rick Benhart, Monte Coon, Terry Law, Lonnie Myatt, Ronald Nowachek and Steve Wink.
