Rose Hill, Kansas - Richard Lyle Tarbox Sr., 87, of Rose Hill, Kansas, passed away on January 2, 2024. He was born on May 28, 1936, in Olin, Iowa. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Richard proudly served and retired from the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW4). His dedication and commitment to his military associations were exemplary.

Richard is survived by his children, Andrea Quint, Charlotte Morgan, Richard L. Tarbox Jr., William Tarbox, and Brian Tarbox. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who will cherish his memory.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Tarbox whom he married on September 11, 1964.

A ceremony to honor Richard's life will be held at the Olin Cemetery in Olin, Iowa, on Saturday, February 3rd at 12:00 p.m.
