William J. Beeks, 6th Iowa Cavalry, Co. K, Age 38. Residence Anamosa, nativity Indiana. Enlisted Sept. 12, 1862. Mustered Nov. 22, 1862. Promoted Sixth Sergeant April 23, 1863. Mustered out Oct. 17, 1865, Sioux City, Iowa. Burial at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Clay County, Iowa born 1824 died 1910.
