Monticello had another livery blaze on the morning of December 27th, which is the second scorch in the last three months. Mrs. C. M. Prader’s hardware store and W. F. Rohn’s harness shop were burned up and entailed a loss in the neighborhood of $13,000. As usual the cause of the fire is reported “unknown.”
