FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. ROSE KADERA THURSDAY MORNING

Mrs. Rose Kadera died at her home northeast of Oxford February 8, at 11:30 o’clock at the age of 78 years. She had been ill for about two years.
She was born in Bohemia and came here with her parents when a child and has since resided in this community. Her husband preceded her in death 17 years ago.

Surviving are eleven children, Fred Kadera, Joseph Kadera, Sam Kadera, Mrs. John Svoboda, Mrs. John Houser of Cedar Rapids, Frank Kadera, Will Kadera, Milo Kadera of Oxford, Mrs. Mike Michala of North Liberty, Charles Kadera of Walford, Mrs. John Sedlacek of Swisher and two brothers and two sisters. 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was a kind and affectionate mother and loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at St. Procopius church north of town Thursday morning, with burial in the Babcock cemetery. (Source: Oxford Leader, Oxford, Thurs, Feb 11, 1932, pg. 1)
