Last rites for Frank Yeries, 83, brother of Mrs. Ben (Dorothy) Schroeder were held in Iowa City May 11 with burial in Memory Gardens.

The son of Barney and Anna Koss Yeries, he was born in Johnson county April 10, 1901. He was married to Theresa Kabele in Iowa City March 27, 1930. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa; 4 sons, Kenneth, Fort Collins, Colo.; Leland, Anderson, Colo.; and Stanley and Franklin, both of Oxford; 2 daughters, Mrs. Paul (Mary Jean) Stebral and Mrs. Raymond (Lorraine) Kutcher, both of Iowa City; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Frances Mentzer, Edith Yeries and Ethel Bohac, all of Iowa City and Dorothy Schroeder, Tipton; and 3 brothers, Lawrence, Hills; Glen, Iowa City and Leo, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
