Funeral services for Mrs. Frank (Mary Anna) Cizek, 100, a former Cedar county resident, were held at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church, Iowa City, Dec. 16 with the Rev. Daniel Mackey officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery, Iowa City. Rosaries were recited Dec. 15.

Mrs. Cizek died at the Beverly Manor Care center, Coralville, Dec. 13.

Born in Czechoslovakia May 25, 1883, she came to the United States as a small child. She was married to Frank Cizek in Tipton Jan. 8, 1901. She and her husband farmed in Cedar county until moving to the Coralville area in 1944. He died May 23, 1960.

Mrs. Cizek was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic church, the Rosary society and the Golden Age club.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Agnes Huffman, Mrs. Lillian Abbott and Mrs. Mildred Hamer, all of Iowa City and Mrs. Cecilia Zervakis, Cedar Rapids; 8 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, a sister, a grandson and one great-granddaughter.
