Funeral services for William P. Leonard, 77, will be held at 10 a.m. today (Oct. 20) at St. Bridget's Catholic church near Solon with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Leonard died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City Oct. 17.

Born near Solon Nov. 3, 1904, he farmed near Solon his entire life. He was married to Lavona Cerny at St. Bridget's church April 23, 1934.

He is survived by his wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Tony Serbousek, Solon; Mrs. Richard Rodgers, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Steve Jensen, West Branch and a son, William B., Solon.
