Scott Arnold Gordon Lebeck, 58, of Coralville, passed away on January 4, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.

Scott was born on June 22, 1965 in Harlan, Iowa to Gary and Judy (Swenson). He was baptized at Peace United Church of Christ, Walnut, Iowa and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Grinnell, Iowa. Following graduation from Grinnell High
School, Scott moved to the Iowa City/Coralville area. On January 7, 2007 he married Kimberly Sherwood and to this union, one daughter was born.

Scott worked many years in the food and beverage industry as a sales and merchandising representative. For the past ten years he worked at Mueller-Yurgae Associates.

Scott had many hobbies. Before his health declined he enjoyed planning and cooking meals. He always took special care in making sure everything was just right. He was an avid sports fan, playing baseball in high school and cheering on his beloved Cubs. But the Hawkeyes were always front and center, no matter which sport. Tailgating at any Hawkeye event was a favorite and he loved listening to a variety of music (especially at loud decibels!) Above all, Scott was a very family-oriented man. Some of the best memories created were the times he spent on Cayman Brac with his wife and daughter. He cherished these special memories and was so happy to share this special place with his immediate family when he and Kim married there.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Kim; daughter, Camille Lebeck; mother, Judy Lebeck; siblings: Heidi (Ed) Elliott, Kristin (Ross) Polking and Kirk (Krista) Lebeck as well as his sister-in-law, Christy Lebeck and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary and his brother, Mark Lebeck.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family c/o Kim Lebeck to be used for Camille’s future educational endeavors.
