Corinne Marie Murphy, 81, of Hills, IA, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023. A visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hills. A Mass will be held at 10 AM, Monday, December 18, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hills. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Atrium Village.

Corinne was born on May 25, 1942 in Iowa City, IA the daughter of Robert and Catharine (Jenn) Schnoebelen. She was a lifelong resident of Hills and graduate of Regina High School. Corinne was united in marriage to George Murphy on August 17, 1963, at St. Joseph Church, and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She took joy in staying home to take care of her children and later in life worked at Atrium Village in Hills. Corinne was a kind and thoughtful person who loved her family very much.

Corinne is survived by her husband, George; three children, Kimberly (Brian) Sandberg of Cosgrove, Chad (Renae) Murphy of Iowa City, and Tracy (Randy) Gringer of Iowa City; six grandchildren, Corey (Crystal) Johnson, Jacob (Dani) Murphy, Rachel Murphy, Nicole (Jacob) Kriegel, Jordan Gringer and Jared Gringer; one step-grandchild, Jourdan (Gabe) Harris; six step great-grandchildren; and sister, Suzanne (Gerald) Schutte;

Corinne was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Scott; and brother, Alan.
