OF HER HURT

---
Mrs. Elizabeth Gallagher, a pioneer of Iowa City and Johnson county, aged 70, fatally injured by a fall, months ago, is dead at her home in Spencer, Iowa, where she resided with her son, Dr. C. S. Grabin.
She was hurt in August 1920, and never fully rallied, complications superinduced by the grievous injury, causing her death. Surviving are her three children, Dr. Grabin, a son of her first husband, James Grabin, and H. Gallagher, Duluth, Minn.; and Mrs. Bernie B. Haye, Sutherland, Iowa, by her husband, David Gallagher, whom she married at Conrad, Iowa.
She was a native Pennsylvanian, coming her from Huntington county, which contributed many early Iowans to this communty [sic].
She married Mr. Grabin here in October, 1868, and only one son was born to them. The father died two years later, in the same month as the marriage occurred, and she wed Mr. Gallagher eight years later, also in October 1877. Her pioneer friends here will grieve.
